Statistical modeller - COVID-19 (Australia)

I’m recruiting for a statistical modeller to work on a high-impact COVID-19 project. The role would suit someone with general data science and statistical modelling skills in R, but Ideally someone with experience building custom Bayesian models.

It would be at academic level A (ie. either postdoc or RA) initially for 12 months. I’d be very happy to chat with anyone who might be interested!

Note that the deadline for applications is this Friday; 4th December.

I should have mentioned in the job ad that this position is unfortunately only open to Australian residents.

It needs to start soon (because COVID) and the Australian government isn’t granting temporary visas to, or letting in, anyone who isn’t already and Australian permanent resident or citizen (because COVID).
