Hi,
I will be hiring for a grant supported PhD student (primarily) position in Prague, to work with me in collaboration with @paul.buerkner’s group on grammo - a grammar of models. The short pitch is that we want to build “brms on steroids” or “ggplot for Bayesian modelling” and integrate it with Stan as well as some simulation-based inference tools.
In the best case scenario, we would like to start a lower intensity collaboration with the student in the upcoming months (may e.g., overlap with a masters thesis and may work remotely) and have the student start (in person) PhD in spring or autumn of 2027, but there is a lot of flexibility.
If you supervise students, I’d be glad if you share it with them.
