It doesn’t seem like there’s a link from the Stan website to the GitHub example models repo anymore. Does anyone know if that’s intentional or an oversight? If the latter I can make a PR to add a link.
I’d very much like to retire the
example-models repo, but can’t get a lot of buy-in. My problems with it is that it’s full of junk that’s not coded and tested up to our standards. I’d be much more comfortable building something back and example at a time, ideally within a context of something like
posteriordb. The full books translated are pretty good other than ARM, but the ad hoc models in there are all over the place, including some that are known to be bad.
