I am using the conditional_effects function to plot an interaction between two continuous predictors in a brms model. One of the continuous predictors has been broken up into three categories, which are represented by numbers in the legend when I plot the conditional effects. What is the default procedure for conditional_effects in terms of breaking up these continuous data into a categorical predictor?
