Any book/article/web-page/literature for a "really gentle" introduction on "how to fit mixture models with Stan"?

Hi,

I came across this article : “Identifying Bayesian Mixture Models” when reading about mixture models and how to “do” them in Stan, it seems not very trivial :) to make an understatement :)

I am wondering though if there is any gentler introduction to this topic, if I am completely new to Stan ? (looking at that article I would be able to read/understand it quickly if I could ask lot of questions from an expert :) - but it would take some time if I cannot - which is the case at the moment).

So I am looking for some sort of really gentle introduction towards Bayesian Mixture modelling and related problems , etc … is there anything else out there that would be good to read in addition to that web-page ?

Cheers,

Jozsef
