I will be in Isreal next week visiting my mom (that’s not the exciting bit, sorry mom) and will be giving two Stan talks.
The first talk will be in Tel Aviv on 20 Nov, hosted by Inbar Naor and the Data Hack meetup. I will be talking about Bayes vs ML with some examples from our work in clinical research. This talk is open to the public, so if you are in Tel Aviv during that time, please stop by.
The second talk will be at Technion in Haifa on 25 Nov, hosted by Uri Shalit and the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management. I am not sure what I am going to discuss, but if you are in Haifa around that time (beautiful city), I can check with Uri to see if we can smuggle you in.
