@betanalpha has a proposed change to timestep adaptation. I want to introduce that to the interface folks and solicit opinions (tldr; it results in a larger timestep: Request for Volunteers to Test Adaptation Tweak but has more divergences: Request for Volunteers to Test Adaptation Tweak).
