Note that US switched to daylight saving time, but e.g. Europe switches two weeks later, so this and next week the gathering time is one hour earlier in Europe.

As Aki said, please adjust your timezone to the new daylight savings time that underwent recently in the US and shift it accordingly.

Hi all,
A bit late posting this but if you have agenda items post them below or raise them during the roundtable of today’s meeting. See you all soon.

We need to find someone to become the host. I am afraid my schedule is getting pretty hectic and I don’t want to have to ask people to cover as a host at the nick of time.

Agenda item:

  • how to best help users with installation issues on Windows.
  • has cmdstanr been tested on the latest release of R?

We discussed today writing a Github organization README:
https://docs.github.com/en/organizations/collaborating-with-groups-in-organizations/customizing-your-organizations-profile#adding-a-public-organization-profile-readme

@storopoli this is very easy to do, it’s just a question of what we want to write

Once we write this i think it would be nice to link to it from all the stan dev repos so its sort of like a homebase for anyone that googles “stan github”

One thing i think that would be nice is to have links to each of the main stan repos with one liners describing what the repo is

My opinion is to not complicate and do just the same as the About in https://mc-stan.org/.

Hi all,
I’m going to miss tomorrow’s meeting, so someone else will have to lead the discussion.
