This is just an FYI: Intel made their tools freely available, see https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/free-ipsxe-tools-and-libraries
That includes the MKL and their compilers.
So maybe we could do a few more tests with this tool chain once in a while? A number of industry users do use it, but I agree that the current testing burden is already intense.
