GitHub installation for RStan on Windows out of date?

The Installation instructions on GitHub seem to be out of date as they pertain to R.3.3x and the latest R version is R.3.4.3. Do I need to go back to installing R.3.3.x to run Rtools33.exe for the most recent frozen version?

If I rely on other packages that only run in R.3.4.3 any advice how to handle the two R versions?

Thanks!

Thanks for reminding us. I think you can get by with just mentally changing 3 to 4 for the second digit everywhere (i.e. install R 3.4.x if you haven’t already and go from there).

Thanks for the tip. But Rtools34.exe is not yet frozen. Do I have to wait till it is?

It is fine. The main thing is the C++ compiler, which hasn’t changed since Rtools33.
