HI there. I’m trying to run a model in brms and am getting the following error:

Compiling the C++ model
running command ''/Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Resources/bin/R' CMD config CXX 2>/dev/null' had status 69Error in if (nchar(CXX) == 0) { : argument is of length zero

Please also provide the following information in addition to your question:

  • Operating System: OS Mojave 10.14
  • brms Version: 2.6

You need to accept the Xcode license by opening it up once via Spotlight or whatever.
