Why don't the execution time add up to real elapsed time

I am running my model and at the end I see the reported time
Warmup took (2416) seconds, 40 minutes total
Sampling took (1390) seconds, 23 minutes total

But the measured total running time is 2 hours 25 minute. Why the huge discrepancy?

you know what it might be a simple case of the laptop falling asleep. Let me verify before re-stating the symptoms.
