What is the correct way to request a code review for contributions to math?

I tried to implement some stuff into Stan math that I was missing and made a PR but I’m unsure how to get someone to review it. Should I simply wait until someone looks at it, or is there another protocol to ask for a review available? I understand the developers have limited capacity, so I don’t want to needlessly spam anyone.

But I have some further contributions in mind that I would like to make later on, so I want to first understand what the general policy even is.
