I noticed that when applying the rv() function from the rv package to a stan fit object the number of simulations varies between parameters declared in the “transformed parameters” block and in the"model" block. Is there any resason for this? In contrast, applying the extract() function results in the correct number of simulations.

Unfortunately, the rv package is not a part of the Stan ecosystem and thus any inquiries should be aimed at its developers. I noticed @jsta has account here, but appears to be inactive, so most likely you’ll need to ask elsewhere.
