Unable to Install Build Tools

Hello, I don’t know anything about computers but installed RStudio through Anaconda. When I tried to do this:

“pkgbuild::has_build_tools(debug = TRUE)”

It says I need to install tools. I accepted it, but the outcome is still false. What do I do?

When I try installing again, it says that another version is already installed, which makes sense as I just installed it a second ago.

I think you are OK with RTools, but using it through Anaconda may be problematic.

Ok, thanks. I will try today and hope my tools are there.

Did not work but I did find the solution. I had to change the “PATH” in Rstudio, whatever that means. So each session I need to add an additional PATH to the PATH.
