Discussion like this happens every once a while, like here, here, and here. I myself got frustrated when have to dig into PRs and code to figure out what’s done, and lean comment doesn’t always help to understand why. I just wish there were a doc somewhere to summarize how we’re past original nuts because I can see the question will be asked again and again.
