Strange information before chains are sampled

Hi all,

I’ve suddenly been getting the following output right before the information on the chains being sampled. Can anyone tell me what this is and whether I need to worry about it? Can it be suppressed?

## Running /Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Resources/bin/R CMD SHLIB foo.c

That’s annoying, but I highly doubt you need to worry about it. Hopefully it can be suppressed but I’m not sure how. Which operating system are you using and which version of RStan?

@bgoodri any idea how to suppress these messages?

I’m on a Mac with Catalina and rstan 2.21.2. Thanks!

Install the new StanHeaders from CRAN.
