Stanimal definition

Seeing as this term has been used in many places without a proper definition that may aide our ESL fellows:

Stanimal, n.,

A sobriquet, often meant endearingly, for Stan programmers. Often 
the stanimal is a developer or expert in Stan who shares and promotes 
their Stan programming knowledge. A portmanteau of Stan and animal. 

Known Misnomers (AKA): Stanian, Stanizen, Disciples of Ulam (rare).

Dear Stanimals, do you have any recommendations, best practises or case studies for logistic regression with highly unbalanced datasets (in my case 478 negatives versus 12 positives)?
