If you’re serious about supporting this longer term, I’d suggest coordinating with @andrjohns and @seantalts on design as I don’t think anything’s settled yet there. I believe the Stan developers are discussing whether to roll stanr into Stan, at which point the API would become as stable as we could make it for backward compatibility.
