Running cmdstan

Hi,

A lot has changed. I’m on a timer now, so I might be a bit annoying. If I can’t get this to work quickly tonight, I think I have cmdstan 2.17 saved somewhere.

I’m trying to use stan, running the instructions at “an example” here: Getting Started with CmdStan · stan-dev/cmdstan Wiki · GitHub.

There’s no longer a bin/stansummary file. What’s the quickest way to print out the parameter estimates from the output.csv file?

If I can’t figure this out by midnight I’m going to work with stan 2.17.

Per usual, I have to do a bunch of set up and many deadlines arrive at the same time. It’s been ~3 years since I’ve used the stack. I did some stuff with the math library but not fitting Stan models.

I’m going with plan B before plan A. I stopped doing stan dev before stanc3 was used to compile ‘.stan’ files, and some of the one liners in the docs aren’t working. I’ve been pushing what I find. Although it may be annoying. But the tests run noticeably faster which is cool. Before we just change the documentation can we archive the legacy docs before stanc3? I need these for now…

we’re ok
