Unfortunately, I’m dealing with a negative binomial model in this case, so it sounds like this wouldn’t quite work for me.
I think I feel comfortable explaining why the values go below 0, but do you know of any references I could point to for doing the basic method of taking posterior draws with/without group-level effects and calculating the variances? Thanks!
