Hi Team,
I have a stan code which run perfectly fine on my laptop (Windows 10) but hangs when run on the Linux server (Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS).
I can run Rstan example(stan_model, package = “rstan”, run.dontrun = TRUE) and schools.stan example without a problem.
I have switched from my windows laptop to Linux server especially I have to work with hierarchical model using larger data set with more number of parameters.
But to start with I only ran my stan code using a very small subset of data with smaller number of iterations , which on my windows laptop ran within 7 seconds but when I ran same code on linux server it just hangs forever.
