I’m planning on renaming the PyStan repos this week. Here’s the renaming scheme:
- stan-dev/pystan → stan-dev/pystan2
- stan-dev/pystan-next → stan-dev/pystan
The PyStan 3 documentation will be shown by default at https://pystan.readthedocs.io/.
None of these changes should break anything for users because PyStan releases are downloaded via PyPI. GitHub is only used for development.
The changes will usefully serve as a reminder that the move to PyStan 3 is coming soon.
