Hai. Can I know if I can change the proposal in the package?
You could do it in the C++, but it’s nothing we expose at the interfaces. It’s my impression that people haven’t gotten a lot out of changing this, but I don’t have papers to cite so I could be making that impression up.
I’m interpreting proposal as momentum proposal in NUTS. This is different than a proposal in a Metropolis MCMC sampler.
