Package binaries for R 4.3

I’ve recently upgraded to R 4.3 and have mc-stan.org/r-packages listed as one of my repos. Now, though, when I try to install cmdstanr (or other packages available from this source), I receive messages like the following:

Warning in install.packages :
unable to access index for repository https://mc-stan.org/r-packages/bin/macosx/big-sur-x86_64/contrib/4.3:
  cannot open URL 'https://mc-stan.org/r-packages/bin/macosx/big-sur-x86_64/contrib/4.3/PACKAGES'

In the end I get a source version, and that’s fine, but it was lovely having binaries for the previous minor R version. Is that possible, feasible, or on the roadmap for R 4.3?

Thanks!

There is an open issue about this you can follow: Create binaries for R 4.3.0 · Issue #10 · stan-dev/r-packages · GitHub

I’m not sure how involved this is or if there would be any timeline on when it might happen. @rok_cesnovar or @jonah might know
