DESCRIPTION
Are you up to the challenge to transform the way we innovate at P&G? The R&D Data and Modeling Sciences (D&MS) division is responsible for delivering breakthrough change in innovation and productivity through development and implementation of leading-edge solutions in data, models & simulations. The vision for this research is to develop a transformative capability for end-to-end modeling and decision-making via Bayesian Machine Learning and Decision Analysis. We use Stan as a key component of our work and have been applying Stan since release of its earliest versions.
As a D&MS scientist at P&G, you will lead the development and application of mathematical models which are required to develop creative new products. The initial emphasis will be on the development of models of consumer behavior implemented in Stan. You will extend a model specification within a Bayesian analysis framework and implement the model in a simulation environment, verify the model implementation, and certify the model. Strong Bayesian analysis experience and capability to program in R and Python are necessary. Valuable skills include: experience in designing and implementing Bayesian models, Machine Learning, Statistical Modeling. We are looking for imaginative and creative individuals with an eagerness to track and contribute to the latest developments in consumer modeling and to envision application possibilities of new technologies in data science & machine learning (e.g., probabilistic programming, cognitive computing, etc.).
QUALIFICATIONS
We believe you will be an excellent fit if, you have:
- A PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, or Economics. We will also consider Chemical or Electrical Engineering.
