The other thing I’d mention is that if you have good reason to think that A should have a lower bound of 100, then I would think about changing the mean value of the normal prior you give it. Even with the correct parameterization, 99.9% of the prior probability of A \sim \text{Normal}(0, \sqrt{1000}) is on values below 100.
