If my main purpose is to capture the autoregressive and cross-lagged effects in a statewide longitudinal panel data (enough sample size and ordinal outcomes), with the issue that a substantial number of students are not consistently nested within a single school over time, they changed schools across grades (but one school in each time point). This is a nested data structure, students nested within schools. Does “brms” can build such a model to address the data structure? If so, how? Thanks!
