I have seeing greta is very likely stan in R, which is support GPU like edward, maybe greta package should integrate with Stan. I don’t wanna learn too much grammar and still love stan DSL than others.
Stan’s about to roll out GPU support for matirx operations.
Greta/Edward and Stan’s goals are very different. Stan’s more of a C++ back end and its own language rather than being tied to a specific language. Stan’s also much less aimed at being a platform for algorithms research.
