Add LICENSE files to top of GitHub repos?

GitHub has been adding new features. One of them is reading a LICENSE or LICENSE.txt file at the top level of the directory and showing details on the repo page:

Is this something we should do?

Yeah I don’t see why not. I think I already did this for most (maybe all) of our R packages a few months ago.
