Hi everyone,
just wanted to let you know that our book has been released:
Bayesian Models for Astrophysical Data - using R, JAGS, Python and Stan
by Hilbe, de Souza and Ishida - Cambridge University Press - 2017
This is a product of our experiences within the Cosmostatistics Initiative (COIN), and an attempt to mitigate the barriers we encountered so many times in the exercise of constructing a truthfully interdisciplinary community.
the book contain complete scripts which are publicly available at: https://github.com/astrobayes/BMAD
Although the final chapter shows examples of applications in astronomy, you do not need to be an astronomer to follow the text.
Enjoy!
