The first Berlin Stan user group meeting will happen next Monday the 28th 19:00 at
Department of Psychology from the Humboldt University at Rudower Chaussee 18, 12489 Berlin [room 3 106 (new building, 3rd floor)].
We plan to have a round of introduction, with the possibility to show some slides or code related to Stan and we should discuss how future Stan meetings will be organized!
This will be an excellent opportunity to get to know Berlin and Brandenburg based Stan users and learn from each other!
I hope to see you there!
I changed this to the Publicity category, though it’s not clear from the pull-down that’s the one you should be using, since it seems aimed at publications. We also want to use it for job ads, meetups, etc. Anything Stan-related people want to publicize that’s not a discussion of Stan itself.
P.S. Wish I could make it. Mitzi and I hope to make it to Berlin in August, and I’ll get in touch when we have concrete plans.
The next Berlin Stan user group meeting will take place next Monday the 25th of June 18:00 at
Humboldt University Berlin, School of Business and Economics, Spandauer Str. 1, 10178 Berlin, room 22 (ground floor, left wing).
Bruno Nicenboim (University of Potsdam) will present his work on “Models of retrieval in sentence comprehension”. In particular, he will
will focus on the Stan implementation, the challenges of the modeling, and model comparison: psis-loo and k-fold for these models.
Hope to see you soon.
