# Strange error " /bin/sh: cmdstan: command not found" when using cmdstanr in RMarkdown

That worked, thanks! It might not be until next week that I have a chance to give this a proper review but I’ll let you know. Actually I had a brief moment to take a look and I made a comment here: [Update r-markdown.Rmd by jgcolman · Pull Request #854 · stan-dev/cmdstanr · GitHub](https://github.com/stan-dev/cmdstanr/pull/854#discussion_r1333459720). Let me know there if you’re ok with my proposed edits.

I will take a more thorough look next week (I’ll be traveling the next few days) and see if I notice anything else. Thanks again.
