# StanCon Oxford is in 8 days!

We’re close to finalizing the program, and we have some wonderful talks and tutorials lined up. For more detailed updates, see this [blog pots](https://statmodeling.stat.columbia.edu/2024/08/09/stancon-2024-is-in-32-days/).

> Talks span a rich range of topics, including ranking sushi, infection diseases, pharmacometrics, artist collaboration, Stan on GPU, Gaussian processes, convincing your organization to adopt a Bayesian workflow and more.

> As a somewhat veteran Stan developer (from the early days, though not the primordial ones—still 8 years!), I’m excited to see names which are both familiar and unfamiliar (to me). The community is large, intellectually diverse and it is going strong on multiple fronts: applied statistics, software development, and research underlying algorithms and methods.

Just curious, would the recordings be made publicly available, for example, on YouTube like it was for StanCon2020?

Indeed, all recording will be released and available for free. Our videographer is currently editing the videos.
