Sparse matrices sound fun! @stevebronder was talking about writing up a design doc for how the syntax would look and how it would work. I think there’s some existing work from @anon75146577 [here](https://discourse.mc-stan.org/t/a-proposal-for-sparse-matrices-and-gps-in-stan/2183) (which possibly supercedes [the wiki](https://github.com/stan-dev/stan/wiki/Functional-Spec:-Sparse-Matrix-Data-Types)). Are those the most up to date links?
