@mercifr1: Is there a Stan-related component of this job?

Yes, there is. Most of the (emprical) disease progression models developed in clinical development by pharmacometrician can/could be coded in rstan. The idea of going bayesian is to leverage as much legacy data as possible to guide the project team in the design and/or analysis of the new clinical trial data. Hope that address your question. Best regards, Francois

Sounds good! Thanks for clarifying.

Stan’s been used in a lot of pharmacometric applications since our first clunky integration of Boost’s ODE solver. We’ve come a long way since then with efficiency and precision, especially for stiff systems and steady-state solutions and efficient linear-system solvers.

I have been following the development of Stan for a few years now and I have been quite impressed by its progress both in terms of methodology and uptake in various domains such as pharmacometrics. A big thank you to the Stan core team for the time, energy and enthusiasm in proposing this solution.

Thanks for sharing that! Hope you find someone good for that job.
