# Installing Rstan

Can you try restarting R and reinstalling RStan and StanHeaders from source:

```
# Compile packages using all cores
Sys.setenv(MAKEFLAGS = paste0("-j",parallel::detectCores()))

install.packages(c("StanHeaders","rstan"),type="source")

```
