How to understand quantiles of coef() function

Hi, I am using the coef() function to extract per-participant BLUPS… how do we interpret the 2.5 and 97.5 quantiles that are outputted along with the estimate of the coef() function?

They are the locations of the 2.5 and 97.5 percentiles of the posterior distribution for the estimated quantity.
